If you are looking for one or two plastic pallets the best place to get them is behind a local store. Here are a few guidelines to follow.
Ask for Permission First
- Never just grab pallets from a store just because they are outside. This is theft and you can be arrested for this.
- Never take pallets with a company name on them. Even if a store tells you that it is okay to have the pallets, and they belong to USPS or Pepsi or Coke or some other company that is also considered theft.
Be Considerate
- Go early or late, never during peak hours, and leave the pallets better than you found them when sorting them to get the right ones for your project.
- There are many different sizes so make sure to take a tape measure with you and not ask for one while on site.
